Five people have lost their lives in separate road accidents across Nepal in the past 24 hours.
According to the Central Police Spokesperson, a 55-year-old motorcyclist, Vinod Aryal, from Aamdaali in Walinng Municipality-6, Syangja, died after a trailer hit his motorcycle on the road in Miridi, Walinng Municipality-8.
In another incident, a truck collided with a motorcycle in Bheriyami, Shambhunath Municipality-8, Saptari, killing the motorcyclist, 55-year-old Khadak Bahadur Aale Magar, from Chahak, Surunga Municipality-1.
A 22-year-old tractor driver, Vikram Khadka, from Kapurkot Gaunpalika-3, Salyanakot, died in a tractor accident in Jhamsingtar, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City-11, Makwanpur.
In Rautahat, a 22-year-old motorcyclist, Amod Thakur, died after his motorcycle collided with an autorickshaw and a motorcycle registered in India at Simarabhananipur Chowk, Gujara Municipality-9.
In a separate incident, a 69-year-old woman, Roopawati Sunar, from Bansghadi, Baijanath Gaunpalika-5, Bardiya, died after being hit by a motorcycle.
