An earthquake with a magnitude of 5 has struck Rukum East district in Lumbini Province.
The National Seismological Center reported that the earthquake occurred at 4:30 pm on Sunday, with its epicenter located in the Kol area of Rukum East.
The tremors were felt in the surrounding areas as well.
