E-ticketing Service Launched in Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park

An e-ticketing service has been launched in Shivapuri-Nagarjun National Park with the aim of making tourist entry more technology-friendly, easy, and transparent.

The service was launched on Saturday under the initiative of Minister of Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Gita Chaudhary. The park has announced that the e-ticketing service will be officially launched from next week at the Pani Muhan and Nagarjun entry points after the trial is successful.

The program will be expanded in phases with the support of the ministry, and necessary infrastructure such as computers, thermal printers, and touch scanners will be made available. The e-ticketing service will also be expanded to other entry points and checkpoints with electricity and internet facilities.

Goal to Implement E-ticketing in All National Parks

The ministry has set a target to implement e-ticketing services in all national parks and reserves across the country within the next six months.

Minister Chaudhary stated that the new system will make the tourist entry process faster, more transparent, and organized, and will also make revenue management more effective and provide easier services to tourists.
