Crowds Flock to Indra Chowk for Sacred Threads as Shrawan Begins

The tradition of wearing green, yellow, and red threads and applying vermilion powder is an integral part of the Shrawan month, which is considered sacred by Hindus as a month dedicated to Lord Shiva.
