Biratnagar Municipality Issues Final Notice to Remove Unauthorized Structures

Biratnagar Municipality has issued a 15-day final notice to remove unauthorized structures along the road from Mahananda Chowk to Mukti Chowk and Devnias, which falls within the municipality’s jurisdiction.

The municipality, in coordination with the Road Department, has already completed the measurement and demarcation of the area, marking a 15-meter radius on either side of the road’s center.

This is the second notice issued by the municipality, after the first notice issued on Jestha 27 was ignored by some homeowners and business owners. The notice, signed by Municipal Administrator Sagar Mishra, warns that if the structures are not removed within the specified timeframe, the municipality will take action to demolish them, with the costs to be borne by the concerned homeowners or landowners.
