Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has suggested that the government focus on good governance and prosperity, rather than trying to tackle multiple issues at once.
Referring to the suggestion made by the task force to amend Article 245 of the Constitution, Bhattarai said that trying to kill too many birds with one stone may not yield any results.
He further stated that the new government, which has come to power with high public expectations following the Jangi revolt, should focus on the country’s main problems, such as good governance and prosperity.
Bhattarai also suggested that the government should aim to create 8-10 million productive jobs annually to address the country’s unemployment problem.
