Nepal Volleyball: Tiger Cup 2023 women’s title to APF

The departmental team won the women’s title of the Tiger Cup volleyball held in Pokhara. APF won the title for the second time by defeating the other departmental team Tribhuvan Army in a set of 3-1.

APF defeated Army in the first set with a 25-20. In the second set, Army won 25-22 over APF.

However, APF won after scoring 25-8 in the third set and 25-22 in the fourth set. Along with the title, APF got 5 lakh rupees and runner-up Army got 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees.

Police third on the men’s side

Nepal Police Club won third place in the men’s category of the Tiger Cup organized by Tiger Group of Pokhara.

Police defeated the previous winners Tribhuvan Army Club in a set of 3-1. Army won the first set by 25-22 points in the competition for third place at the volleyball court of Pokhara Stadium.

However, it was limited to the fourth after losing the following 3 sets in a row. Police won the second set 18-25, the third set 21-25, and the fourth set 20-25.
The police, who came third, received 1 lakh 25 thousand rupees. Army, which was the fourth, got it for 65,000 rupees.
