A US reality TV star is making a public plea for emergency help to reunite with his critically ill daughter in a Phoenix hospital.
Armando Rubio, who appears on the show ’90 Day Fiancé’, is seeking assistance from the Department of Homeland Security to join his US citizen spouse, Kenny Niedermeier, and their daughter, Hannah, who is receiving intensive care.
According to his immigration attorney, Kelsey Zubkoff, Armando is pursuing a lawful spousal visa but is asking for his case to be expedited due to the extraordinary medical circumstances.
Hannah was airlifted from Mexico to Phoenix after suffering a brain bleed, and doctors are still trying to determine the cause. Armando was previously turned away after attempting to cross the US-Mexico border to be with his daughter.
Zubkoff has pushed back on misinformation circulating online, stating that Armando did not overstay an authorized period of admission in the US. She added that the family is not asking to bypass the law, but rather seeking compassion and consideration of every lawful avenue available during this serious family emergency.
