Nepal Police have arrested two Indian nationals with brown sugar in Morang district.
The arrested individuals are 28-year-old Mohammad Munna and 25-year-old Mohammad Mukul from Araria, Bihar, India.
According to the Narcotics Control Bureau, the two were arrested from Rangeli Municipality-7 on Wednesday. The bureau’s spokesperson, Police Inspector Jeevan Niraula, said 101 grams of brown sugar were recovered from the arrested individuals.
The two were riding a motorcycle with license plates BR38AAH 7193 and BR38AQU 8243. They are currently in the custody of the Area Police Office in Rangeli.
In a separate incident, police in Kathmandu arrested 45-year-old Deepak Shrestha from Gokarneshwar Municipality-4 with 1365 grams of brown sugar.
