Tate Brothers to Be Extradited to UK on Multiple Charges

Andrew and Tristan Tate are set to be extradited to the UK, a move their lawyer has described as unfair given their ongoing legal proceedings.

The Crown Prosecution Service announced 32 new charges against Andrew Tate and six against Tristan Tate, all connected to alleged conduct between 2010 and 2017.

Andrew Tate faces 32 charges, including seven counts of rape, three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation, three counts of assault, and 19 charges related to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

Tristan Tate is facing one count of sexual assault, two counts of rape, and three counts of arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation.

These charges are in addition to the 21 charges previously announced in May last year, with Andrew facing 11 charges and Tristan facing 10.

Lawyer’s Response

The brothers’ lawyer, Joseph McBride, claims the extradition is unfair, as the brothers are currently involved in ongoing proceedings in Romania and are set to go to trial in Palm Beach for a defamation case.

McBride alleges that the Crown Prosecution Service ‘conjured up’ the new charges overnight, describing them as ‘ridiculous, salacious, and meant to make headlines.’ He claims there is no evidence to support the allegations.

McBride also argues that the extradition is an interference in the due process rights of two American citizens by a foreign country, and that the UK is targeting Andrew and Tristan Tate specifically.

The brothers were taken into custody by US Marshals in downtown Miami on Saturday, outside a bareknuckle boxing event that Andrew Tate was set to cohost.
