Nepal’s Madhesh Region Grapples with Rising Drug Trafficking

Police in Nepal’s Madhesh region have arrested several individuals in connection with drug trafficking, highlighting the growing problem of illicit substances in the area.

In one incident, police in Siraha district arrested six people, including two Indians, and seized 243 grams of brown sugar. The arrests were made after a shootout between the suspects and police, resulting in injuries to two people.
