Nepal Telecom has introduced an online service that allows customers to apply for a new SIM card if their existing one is lost or damaged.

The service, which was launched on Shrawan 1, 2083, enables customers to fill out the necessary information online and receive a new physical or e-SIM card.

To use the service, customers need to log in to esim.ntc.net.np and click on the ‘Apply for lost/Damaged Sim’ option. They will then need to follow the instructions and provide the required information.

Once the information is submitted, customers can collect their new SIM card from a counter by presenting their identification documents. If they are unable to collect the SIM card themselves, they can authorize a representative to do so on their behalf.

The representative will need to provide their own identification documents and a letter of authorization from the customer. This is to ensure the customer’s privacy and security.

The online portal also allows customers to apply for a new prepaid e-SIM, convert their physical SIM to an e-SIM, and update their KYC (Know Your Customer) information.
