Siraha, Nepal – The Armed Police Force Number 7 Gan Headquarter in Siraha has seized smuggled goods worth over 1.5 million rupees from various locations along the border.

The seized items include groceries, clothing, liquor, and beverages, as well as two motorcycles, with a total value of 1,548,870 rupees. The goods were handed over to the Siraha Customs Office on Friday.

According to the Armed Police Force, the smuggled goods were seized during a patrol along the Nepal-India border. The motorcycles, with license plates BR 32 AA 908 and BR 32 F 6597, were also seized.

The Armed Police Force has reported that the seized goods were being smuggled from India into Nepal, while liquor was being smuggled from Nepal into India.

This is not the first time the Armed Police Force has seized smuggled goods in the area. In the month of Ashar alone, the force seized goods worth over 15.6 million rupees and handed them over to the customs office.
