Nepal Police have arrested 17 individuals from various parts of the country, confiscating different types of narcotics in the process.
According to Nepal Police, the arrests were made in Kathmandu, Makwanpur, Bara, Dhankuta, Kailali, and Rupandehi. The seized narcotics include brown sugar, heroin, marijuana, nitrazepam, and tramadol.
Five people were arrested in Kathmandu Metropolitan City with heroin, while two individuals were apprehended in Chandragiri-2, Nagdhunga, with nitrazepam. One person was arrested in Bara with marijuana, and five others were caught in Makwanpur with brown sugar. Additionally, one person was arrested in Dhankuta with tramadol.
Four people were arrested in Kailali with heroin, and one person was apprehended in Rupandehi with the same substance. Nepal Police stated that necessary investigations are underway.
