Nepal was defeated by Kazakhstan in a closely contested match at the Kabadda Championship in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The match, which was part of the Central Asian Volleyball Association’s Kabadda Championship, saw Nepal lose 3-2 in a thrilling five-set match.

Kazakhstan won the first two sets 25-19 and 25-21, but Nepal fought back to win the third set 34-32 in a tiebreaker.

Nepal also won the fourth set 25-19, but Kazakhstan took the final set 15-9 to win the match.

The Nepali team, led by captain Harihajur Thapa, included six new players, including Rajendra Dhami, Himal Sunari, Dipesh Kunwar, Suraj Chunara, and Saroj Bardewa, who made their debut in the senior team.

The championship, organized by the Pakistan Volleyball Federation, features six teams from Central Asia.
