The FIFA World Cup Final has hosted a historic halftime show, featuring a star-studded lineup of music royalty, soccer legends, and special guests.
Madonna kicked off the spectacle, joined by Brazilian soccer icons Ronaldinho and Ronaldo. The performance was followed by a rendition of The White Stripes’ ‘Seven Nation Army’ by the cast of ‘Sesame Street’, which got the stadium chanting.
K-pop group BTS then took to the field, performing their hit song ‘Dynamite’. The show also featured a surprise appearance by ‘Ted Lasso’ stars Jason Sudeikis and Brendan Hunt, who introduced Justin Bieber to the stage. Bieber performed ‘Everything Hallelujah’ before Shakira and Burna Boy closed out the set with ‘Dai Dai’, the official song of the 2026 World Cup.
The halftime show carried a message of love and unity, with FIFA using the event to showcase the power of music and soccer to bring people together. The performance marked a historic moment for the World Cup, which has never before hosted a halftime show.
