The Madan Puraskar Guthi has announced the shortlist of 10 books for the Madan Puraskar award for the year 2082.
The shortlisted books were selected from a total of 298 books that were registered with the Guthi, according to a statement released by the Guthi’s chairman, Kund Dikshit, on Sunday.
The shortlisted books include ‘Agyat’ by Keshavraj Gyawali, ‘Itha’ by Keshav Dahal, ‘Utkarsh’ by Lalit Vishwakarma, ‘Nepalmandal Sang Jodieko Simraungadhko Itihas’ by Roshan Kumar Jha, ‘Newar Samudayaka Paramparagat Mukundonach’ by Veena Joshi Rajbhandari, ‘Paridhi’ by Uma Suvedi, ‘Mahayug’ by Sita Abhas, ‘Salah’ by Shravan Mukarung, ‘Swasparsh’ by Dr. Navaraj KC, and ‘Hiund’ by Nadi Shrestha.
The Guthi has been selecting the top 10 books from the registered books since 2072 and announcing them publicly. One of these 10 books will be awarded the Madan Puraskar-2082, which carries a cash prize of Rs 400,000.
