Iran has claimed to have launched an attack on US military targets in Kuwait and Jordan in retaliation for a US attack. According to a military statement broadcast on Iranian state television, the targets included a US military base in Kuwait’s Al-Adiri camp, a US military headquarters in Al-Ali Al-Salem, and a US ammunition depot.
In Jordan, Iranian state media reported that the country’s military had targeted US fuel storage tanks at the Al-Azraq military base. The Kuwaiti military also reported hearing explosions as its air defense system intercepted hostile targets.
The Bahraini Interior Ministry confirmed that air raid sirens had been activated in the country, which hosts the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet.
