Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claims to have launched a drone attack on US military camps in Kuwait and Jordan.
According to a statement from the IRGC, a drone attack targeted a munitions depot at the Al Udied Air Base in Kuwait. The statement also claimed that the Al Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait was attacked, targeting a headquarters building, ammunition storage facilities, and several communication hubs.
The IRGC also stated that drones attacked fuel storage tanks at the Al Azraq Air Base in Jordan. The base is considered a key US military base in the region due to its location, infrastructure, military equipment, and significant investment from Washington.
The IRGC described the attack, saying, ‘Drones targeted the munitions depot at the Al Udied Air Base in Kuwait, a headquarters building and ammunition storage facilities at the Al Ali Al Salem Air Base, as well as several communication hubs.’
The IRGC further clarified, ‘Drones also attacked fuel storage tanks at the Al Azraq Air Base in Jordan.’
