Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle inspected the Inland Revenue Department in Lajimpat on Thursday and received a briefing on the department’s preparations to achieve the revenue target set in the new budget.
During the visit, Minister Wagle and Finance Secretary Ghanashyam Upadhyaya directed the department and its employees across the country to work towards achieving the revenue target.
On the occasion, Director General of the Inland Revenue Department, Bhishmakumar Bhusal, made a presentation on the department’s organizational structure, tax collection targets, and preparations.
