The father of a man accused of murdering Charlie Kirk is running a thriving local business, despite his son’s high-profile court case.

Matthew Robinson, the father of Tyler Robinson, has been working as usual at his masonry business in St. George, Utah, according to reports. The business appears to be doing well, with loyal clients and word-of-mouth recommendations contributing to its success.

However, Matthew Robinson is not paying for his son’s defense. Instead, taxpayers are footing the bill, which experts estimate could reach up to $10 million.

Matthew Robinson’s business has not always been successful. In 2014, he was sued by his brother, Clint Robinson, who accused him of embezzling $100,000. The two brothers eventually reached a confidential settlement.

According to a colleague of Matthew Robinson, who wished to remain anonymous, he rarely mentions his son these days. However, Matthew Robinson has been seen attending his son’s court hearings to show his support.
