Dang Sees 77% Paddy Plantation

Dang has seen 77% paddy plantation as of today in the month of Shrawan.

According to Asha Bhandari, Senior Agriculture Extension Officer at the District Agriculture Knowledge Centre, most of the fields in the Deukhuri area have already been planted.

Bhandari informed that paddy plantation is ongoing in various municipalities, including Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City, Dangisharan, Shantinagar, and Babai.

In the Deukhuri Valley, Lamahi Municipality, Rapti, Gadhawa, and Rajpur Rural Municipality have seen paddy plantation due to the availability of irrigation facilities.
