A litter of 6-week-old puppies that may one day serve as Capitol Police dogs has been spotted on Capitol Hill, bringing joy and cuteness to the area.
The puppies were on the hill to work on their socialization skills and confidence, an important part of their development into future police K-9s.
According to those transporting the litter, the puppies have promising career paths ahead of them as police dogs.
For now, however, they are still young and playful, and were happy to receive pets and head scratches from visitors.
