BP Memorial Day: Congress Faction Holds Separate Event

A faction of the Nepali Congress is organizing a separate event to mark BP Memorial Day at the Pragya Bhawan in Kathmandu.

While the establishment faction is organizing a ‘Green Run’ (a five-kilometer run) to raise awareness about climate change, the other faction is holding a separate program at Pragya Bhawan.

A meeting held on Shrawan 3, chaired by Acting President Puran Bahadur Khadka, had decided to celebrate BP Memorial Day separately.

A committee led by former Vice-President Prakash Man Singh has been formed to organize the event.

The meeting also decided to form various committees, including a publicity and management committee, as needed.
