Two recent road accidents in Dang district have claimed the lives of two people, bringing attention to the growing number of road fatalities in the area.
The accidents, which occurred in the same month, were caused by speeding drivers, according to an investigation by the District Police Office.
These incidents are just a few examples of the many road accidents that have occurred in Dang district. In the past year, 347 road accidents have resulted in the deaths of 72 people, including 50 men, 19 women, and three children.
According to Traffic Police Office Dang, 163 men, 47 women, 16 boys, and six girls were seriously injured in these accidents. The majority of the accidents, 281, involved motorcycles.
Causes of Road Accidents
The main causes of road accidents, according to the police, are speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol, driver negligence, poor road conditions, and mechanical failures.
The police have been conducting public awareness campaigns and road safety programs to reduce the number of accidents and prevent such incidents from occurring.
In addition, the traffic police have been conducting free health checkups for drivers and pedestrians who do not follow traffic rules.
