AS Roma eliminated from the Coppa Italia

AS Roma has been eliminated from the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia after losing to Cremonese. Roma lost to Cremonese 2-1 at home and dropped out of the last eight.

A goal was gifted to Cremonese when he scored a goal in Cremonese’s win at Stadio Olimpico Roma on Wednesday night. Roma’s Andrea Belotti scored a goal.

Cremonese took the lead in the 28th minute of the game with a penalty goal by Cyriel Dessers. Desers missed a penalty after a foul by goalkeeper Rui Patricio.

In the 49th minute, Roma fell behind 2-0 after a suicide goal by Mehmet Zeki Celik. Then, in the fourth minute of injury time, Andrea Belotti scored a goal to make the game 2-1, but it was not enough to advance the team to the previous stage. Now Cremonese will play against Fiorentina in the semi-finals.

In the other quarterfinal, Fiorentina defeated Torino 2-1 and confirmed their place in the semi-finals. Luka Jovic and Jonathan scored in Fiorentina’s victory. Yan Karamoh of Torino scored a goal.

Now in the other quarter-final, Juventus and Lazio will compete tonight. After that, the semifinals of the Coppa Italia will be completed. Earlier, Inter Milan has secured a place in the semi-finals.
